We arrived in Bangkok yesterday and we are now comfortably enjoying a stay with our friend Ann who is currently living in Bangkok. We have already had a thai massage and spent a few hours lounging around the pool--napping and reading.
We enjoyed the rest of our sty in Cambodia. From Phnom Pehn we went to Siem Reip, which is nearby the famous temples of Angkor Wat. There are close to 100 temples mostly built from 800-1200ad spread around within a 5-10 miles radius. Angkor Wat is the biggest of the temples and it is HUGE! It is credited with being the world's largest man made religous structure. We are not quite sure what that means or how it is measured and compared, but I can say it was a beautiful and imprresive temple. We saw 6 other temples over the corse of the day and they are all amazingly intricate and beautiful. We'll post pictures when we figure out how to get them off the camera. The temples are just too hard to describe with words!
Well its 1:30am and my brain is starting to think in jibberish so that's all I have to share for today!
