Ringing in the New Year
We spent New Year's Eve in the biggest crowd of our life! We watched a light show and fireworks put on by the Hong Kong Skyscrappers. We learned how it feels to be completly surrounded by people and unable to move independently. We just moved as a mass. We didn't know quite where we were going but just kept moving along because we had to. Eventually we ended up with a great view point next to the water and the people cleared out a bit. The really crazy crowd was on the way back to the subway. Everyone was being squeezed into a small station and the streets were full in every direction of people, completely packed together, heading for the subway. Thanks to Ben's height advantage we found our way to the subway entrance fairly quickly. It was a fun night to welcome the New Year.
