An Afternoon at the Beach

We (Ben, our friend Aimee, and I) spent Saturday afternoon enjoying one of the nicest nearby beaches. It's been so hot though that we didn't last for too long in the sunshine! We rented kyaks and were on the water less than an hour before I started getting sea sick and all of us were getting wiped out by the hot sun. We enjoyed floating in the water as long as we did and it was probably the perfect amount of time as we didn't really have a destination in mind. We mostly just liked floating in the cool water. We decided that it was time for some cold drinks in the shade and spent a while just enjoying the beautiful scenery and good company.
